My passion for making and designing cakes came when I was a child. Growing up with a large family, I helped my Mother baking for our large family, putting to practice my love for decorating family and friends celebration cakes. 4 years ago I was asked to do a gluten free wedding cake, from then on I was hooked, dairy free and even vegan I have done and offer these in all categories of my cakes.
I simply love making cakes, to see and hear the delight of my customers on either their wedding day, birthday or any other celebration gives me the greatest pleasure.
My passion for cake designing, working with clients for any celebration cakes is exuberayting! I love helping my clients work through their theme and ideas to come up with a cake that is a personalised exception for their day.

Chris has a natural connection with his beloved soil and there’s nothing more he loves to do than to walk through his freshly worked soil. He has a natural affinity with the soil and he has the ability to work out what the soil is lacking by smelling it and clasping it in his hand. For him, growing beautiful vegetables starts with the soil.
At Tuahiwi Organic Garden we grow a wide variety of vegetables from everyday staples to more difficult to source vegetables such as celeriac, kohlrabi, turnips, daikon radish and fennel bulb. These vegetables are grown in great soil and irrigated and washed clean in Tuahiwi’s pure artesian water.
Tuahiwi Organic Gardens have now moved with the times and are offering an online vegetable delivery service. More of the same great fruit and vegetables but delivered to your door weekly or whenever you choose.

' Teppanyaki ' is a style of cooking, that uses an iron griddle to cook food.
The word teppanyaki is derived from teppan (鉄板), which means iron plate, and yaki (焼き), means grilled. Our chef cooks various seafood, cuts of beef, chicken and fresh vegetables in front of customers.

The Kaiapoi River Queen was established in Kaiapoi 2019.
River Queen started her life in Marlborough on the Taylor river close to the township of Blenheim where it operated for approximately a decade.
She is a flat bottomed 2 story boat constructed of wood and fibreglass that is powered by 2 carefully hidden outboard motors.
It has been fully refurbished since its arrival in Kaiapoi in October 2018 with paint, upholstery, carpets, new decks, new 115 Honda outboard motors and is ready to serve the Kaiapoi and wider areas.
The Kaiapoi River Queens flat bottom allows her to sail no matter the tide.
Its permanent berth is just to the Eastern side of the William Street bridge and in front of the Five Peaks Brew Co on a purpose built floating jetty, that allows easy access for customers.
